Axis HQ Inc (“Axis HQ Inc”, “we”, “us”) makes OverRoad, software for owner-operators and small trucking fleets. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it and the choices you have. It applies to useaxis.app, gooverroad.com, the OverRoad service, and the calls, emails and text messages we exchange with you.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact form: your name, business name, email address, mobile phone number and message.
- OverRoad sign-up: your name, email address, mobile phone number, company name, USDOT number and fleet size.
- Customer accounts: business and contact details, the phone numbers you forward to OverRoad, the operating rules you set (such as lanes, rates and equipment) and billing details.
- Communications: what you tell us by email, phone or text, including recordings of phone calls with our team, which we make with notice.
SMS consent records
When you agree to receive text messages, we keep a record of that consent: whether the consent box was checked, the exact wording you were shown, the date and time, your IP address and the page address. For verbal consent, we keep the call recording and the date and time.
Information from using OverRoad
To provide the service, OverRoad handles calls on a carrier's behalf. That includes call recordings and transcripts (made with notice), load details such as lanes, rates and dates, and documents a carrier sends us.
Information collected automatically
Our servers log basic technical details when you visit our websites: IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, referring page, and the date and time.
How we use information

- To provide, operate, maintain and improve OverRoad.
- To send the messages you agreed to receive, including information about OverRoad products and offers, and to honor opt out requests.

How we share information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share personal information only in these cases:

- Business changes: as part of a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
- With your direction: when you ask us to share information or give consent.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. We keep inquiries for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and customer data for the life of the account and a reasonable period afterward. We keep SMS consent and opt-out records for as long as needed to show that we honored them, which can be longer than other records. When we no longer need information, we delete it or make it anonymous.
Security
We protect personal information with safeguards that include encryption in transit, access controls and limiting access to people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
