Axis joins the Google Cloud Partner program — adding Google Cloud's AI tooling and global infrastructure to the operating layer powering independent dental and primary care clinics.
Axis, the operating layer for the front desk of independent outpatient clinics, has joined the Google Cloud Partner program. The partnership expands Axis's cloud footprint beyond AWS and Microsoft Azure to include Google Cloud's AI tooling and global infrastructure — used inside a HIPAA-compliant perimeter, with an executed Business Associate Agreement covering every service that touches a patient call.
Independent practices don't pick a cloud — they pick whichever one their software vendors picked for them. Most healthcare software runs on a single cloud and inherits that cloud's outages, regional limits, and pricing curve. Axis runs across all three majors so a practice never gets to learn what a regional cloud failure feels like at 9 AM on a Monday.
01What Google Cloud adds to the stack.
Google Cloud's healthcare-focused services — including its FHIR-native data layer and its AI-platform tooling — give Axis a third independent compliance perimeter for the work that benefits from regional or model diversity. The partnership extends the dual-cloud failover posture Axis already runs on AWS and Azure into a true three-cloud stance, with every service contractually inside the practice's HIPAA perimeter before a single call is taken.
